Reporting to: Head- Marketing
- The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a consistent national brand strategy while retaining a strong regional connect in order to meet the national market share goals for the brand
The major mandates in the given job context are:
- Refreshing & rationalising (and creating if required) a Long Term Brand Strategy & Calender
- Implementation of consistency of brand strategy across multiple hubs
- Advance planning for improving efficiencies across corporate and hub teams
- Building brand awareness in a fragmented media environment with restricted budgets v/s competition
- Driving a consumer focused proactive approach to brand building
- Driving Innovation
- Anticipating future consumer needs and incorporating into the brand development process.
Candidate’s Profile:
- MBA (Marketing) or equivalent
- 5-12 years of work experience in FMCG Sales / Marketing (min 4 years in marketing)
- Should have 2-3 years exp in Brand management
Key Accountabilities:
- To conceptualize and Plan Brand Communication Programs to achieve stronger brand health. This will involve :
- Responsible for inducting the relevant ppl ( Sales / Marketing staff ) into the new campaign and managing expectations on thematic execution w.r.t integrated launch allocating resources and focus on the campaign
- Ensuring a pre and post test of the concepts for thought crystallization & tracking effectiveness of the campaign.
- Work on future Brand Planning projects, which pave way for the brand for the next 2-3 years. E.g. Brand Style Guide
- Optimising Budget Vs. Spends at an overall brand level for corporate as well as the hubs
- To ensure creative consistency at National Level for seamless implementation of brand instruments.
