Brand Manager, FMCG
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all brand strategy and execution for 1-2 brands in the portfolio, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager.
Brand Strategy
- Develop Annual Brand Plan in conjunction with the Marketing Head, Sales & Agency.
- Collate and Analyze market trends,
- Monitor competitor activities, and based on the same undertake timely market intervention.
- Post-track all in market initiatives and document and incorporate learnings for the future.
Marketing Planning Development & Execution
- To plan and carry out marketing activities, including concept and advertising development, consumer and other activations
- Manage a media budget in the range of 20 -30 cr. Prepare Media Briefs on annual and campaign level, evaluate plans from agency
- Co-ordinate with agencies, track media deliverables and sales volumes
- Creating and executing launch and Communicate plan
Accountability for Results:
- Develop sales and consumption forecast for the brands and monitor accuracy
- Evaluate and track brand performance against budget and communicate to key stake holders the progress
Product improvement:
- Responsible for identifying the need, formulate and implement consumer research on the brand to drive long tem equity as well as oversee product improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Responsible for coordinating initiatives between demand and supply chain, R&D, procurement and other functions on ongoing business.

5. Analytical skills for data analysis and interpretation
6. Commercial acumen / Negotiation skills
Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:
1. Masters in Business Administration from a premier institute as a minimum.
2. Minimum experience of 3 years with at least 1 years in brand management in relevant areas (large FMCG, consumer healthcare brands).
3. Knowledge of the Indian consumer, marketing, sales, trade and regulatory environment for the existing category and the categories likely to be the drivers of future growth.
4. Track record of Advertising development & execution, media planning.
5. Strongly rooted in marketing processes.
