Brand Manager - FMCG

Our Client is largest consumer goods company in Tanzania with manufacturing bases in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Nairobi, and Kampala. Furthermore, its operations are spread throughout East Africa. The Company’s distribution network consists of 1200 business partners spread throughout Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Democratic republic of Congo, and South Africa. These are regularly serviced by 8 regional offices, 10 depots, a fleet of 56 delivery vehicles, and over 1300 well trained, motivated, and diligent employees.

The product mix is diversified and consists of Toothpaste, Lotion, Crèmes, Fairness Crème, Petroleum Jellies, Hair Oils and Tonics, Pomades, Styling Gels, Drinking Squashes, Baking Powder, Soda Bicarbonate, Sauces, Jams, Pickles, Mineral Water, Toilet soaps, Laundry Bars, Detergents, Oils, Confectioneries, Household Plastics, Industrial Plastics, Barbed Wire, Chain Link Fencing, Expanded Metal, and Nails.

They are seeking for a BRAND MANAGER to be based at Dares Salaam - Tanzania who will lead a brand's strategic choices and vision, product and commercial inovations, and marketing elements across all media, while collaborating with multi-function teams and agency partners.

- He will be responsibile for developing a marketing plan to identify specific marketing tactics and plan to build on consumer, shopper and customer insights to deliver overall business objectives and strategies.

The ideal candidate should be a MBA with around 15 years of experience with age below 35 years.
