Brand Manager owns creative and content strategy across all digital and offline touchpoints for the brand - manages and oversees day to day execution and leads the entire marketing/creative team
Performance Marketing:
1) Understand category tailwinds, study digital trends, develop and build briefs for relevant creative assets for performance marketing
2) Understand and evaluate metrics - ctrs, roas, cpms etc. - develop comms for customer acquisition (brand awareness and conversion both)
3) Manage creative agencies, study and structure data to build customer insights Content Creation & Social Media
1) Be online savy - understand platform metrics and come up with relevant digital strategies to build user base and engagement on IG, Youtube & LinkedIn
2) Build briefs, creative and communication direction for enhancing brand presence on all 3 platforms - including visual indentity, copywriting, aesthetic style etc.
3) Ensure right brand comms on website, retention channels (whatsapp/sms/email), offline etc
New Products and Categories - Creative & Comms Development
1) Understand new products and categories the brand is venturing into and develop competitive product positioning
2) Structure and engage with initial customer feedback, for product fitment
3) Develop relevant creative assets for product and category education, mentoring offline and cc teams
Offline/ Retail Marketing:
1) Study store shelves, competition, brand placements and develop relevant in-store assets for brand awareness
2) Assist with sampling/ trial activities, event participation to help mine consumer insights
3) Assist with trade marketing activities, building comms and relevant assets for B2B marketing, horeca etc.
Marketplace Marketing:
1) Understand category sizing, brand share - develop strategies (product/ pricing) to build brand recall and awareness
2) Assist with relevant keyword targetting - via consumption use cases, competitor key words, relevant generic category keywords
3) Develop relevant comms and creative assets for specific promotional properties - brand drop, amazon A+, DSP ads etc. on e-com and quick com
Required Skills/ Experience:
- Team management role - atleast 5-7 years of handling and hiring for creative teams, preferably for digital first brands
- Strong cultural fitment with a growth-stage startup - ability to hustle and get things done. Strong generalist with marketing skills will be helpful
- Ability to bring out structure in broad, ambigious problems - proative and takes ownership of their own and team's output
- Should understand creative execution - can simplify briefs, build briefs and focus on execution of output and quality
- A person who is a consumer of the category - passionate about asian food, cpg brands, good eye for aesthetic and detail will be good exp. with offline marketing - retail, merchandizing etc. will be helpful
