Business Need
Zovi is online only apparel and accessories brand with no offline retail presence. As a nascent brand with immense growth aspirations, there is a need for consistent brand building efforts in offline mass media in a large scale to drive awareness and trial. The offline media efforts will be branding in nature to complement the digital media efforts which are primarily transaction led
Objective
- Media- to drive the mass media (non digital) strategy for Zovi across Print, Television, Outdoor
- Events-to lead the event marketing execution strategy
Key responsibilities
- To lead the media buying effort to develop and execute a cost efficient media plan that delivers on Zovi’s marketing objectives
- To develop offline media partnerships that drive sustained awareness of Zovi’s brand proposition
- To identify relevant event sponsorship opportunities that offer relevant awareness and trial stimulation opportunities
- To lead the creative production costing effort across offline media to ensure cost efficiencies
Experience required
- Mass Media planning across print and television for fashion/personal care/hospitality services/durables/fmcg
- Event management experience for connecting at corporate parks, malls and fashion events
Attitude and Skills
- Deep knowledge of media landscape and pros and cons of each media vehicle. Good industry contacts
- Proficiency in media planning and tracking tools
- Should be mature and energetic with strong action orientation
