Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual plan for each category, detailing key SKUs, pricing

strategies, sales targets, platform-specific strategies, product USPs, and marketing plans. Ensure the 4 Ps of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) are thoroughly addressed.

- P&L ownership and ensuring achievement of the targeted sales numbers of the category. Ensure Profitability by negotiating the best category margins, securing marketing support from brands and focused on delivering the budgeted top-line and bottom-line

- Conduct thorough research to understand the regional market dynamics and identify insights into consumer preferences, buying habits, pain points, and needs specific to each region.

- Drive the communication plan in terms of campaign calendar, communication channels and media mix optimization.

- Proactive in identifying potential issues that customers might face while engaging with the category's products or services and finding ways to enhance their experience.

- Develop clear, consistent, and compelling brand messaging that aligns with the brand's and category values and resonates with the customer needs.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment with marketing, sales, and operations leaders, obtain their approvals, and address any concerns or feedback.

- Ensure operational efficiency and alignment across all departments to achieve category goals.

- Responsible for managing annual budgets for category innovation, marketing, and profit margins ensuring alignment and optimal allocation with finance and other stakeholders.

- Track and analyse weekly category performance using key metrics such as offtake, live rates, quality complaints, customer insights, and margins. Publish and present performance reports to relevant stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

- Develop and roll out a comprehensive category calendar on a quarterly or semi-annual basis, detailing revenue goals, product plans, communication strategies, and platform-specific spending plans.
