The objective of the position is ownership of portfolio road map, new products, brand training and sales tool development, marketing communication, market study and comparison. Defining customer needs, trend and data analysis presentations, building of A+ content, monitoring of marketing campaigns to drive growth for the personal care category including brand presentations, Gantts for stakeholders and followup

Brand & Marketing:

- Conducting industry analysis on products, competition players, growth segments, emerging segments etc.

- Conduct gap analysis through research and consumer interaction as well as feedback analysis from distributors and customers

- Partaking strategic planning process for the category based on key consumer insights to enhance current portfolio: Recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.

- Provide support to the Business head in building Marketing calendars as per guidelines and

- Assist the management in evaluating Performance marketing plans and its optimization and calculation of ROI of marketing campaigns

- Provide inputs to the B&M team on planning, research and negotiate media campaign rates

- Overall content creation for products including deep knowledge of A+ Content

- Ability to create Product USP's and differentiation for marketing campaigns

New Product Launch & Employee Training:

- Monitoring and analysing category's performance vis- vis business goals (awareness, share, consumer recall, and profitability) and the competition.

- Analysing, benchmarking market universe data and assist the COO in planning sales and marketing strategy accordingly to obtain product market share

- Provide support to the COO in Strategizing & executing go-to-market Plan for New Launches & Product Promotion & monitoring Market-Performance of the same post launch.

- Provide inputs on indicative MRP's as per competition and backward integration to achieve target MRP as per defined specs

- Provide support in creating presentations and data for the board

Brand Agency Coordination:

- Provide support and input to the B&M team in proposing Agency as per their requirement.

- Coordination with the VM agency / team and collaborate with Brand & Marketing in Designing Visual Merchandizing Strategies to drive business.

- Provide input on customer demands, pain points and trends relayed to Personal care business

- Studio management of personal care products

- Support in development of VM collaterals for new range as per rollout plan for own stores & trade distribution

- Provide support in creating Marketing Briefs/ Content for Design/ PR/ Marketing/ Media Buying agencies

- Coordination with / PR/ Marketing/ Media Buying agencies and final deliveries.

PR Coordination:

- Represent personal care category for PR related activities with the B & M team to achieve business objectives.

Artworks creation and coordination:

- Work on Colour Story definition for labels with B&M team.

- Working with creative agency as per Marketing brief basis ART, COPY, LEGAL

- Coordination with Brand and Marketing for design concept of labels, critical for launch, including gift boxes, trial packs, PR kits concepts etc.

- Ensuring all product labels are as per legal compliance

Creating Training module and conducting training:

- Creating training Module for new product launch as well as for existing products

- Conducting Product training for beauty advisors and store staff

JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE):

- Years of Functional Experience: 6 years of experience from Personal Care industry in Product and Brand management.

- Degree/Diploma Post Graduation (BSc, MBA)

- Knowledge & Skills:

- Excellent Verbal (& written) communication Skills

- Presentation Skills/ Knowledge of MS office, PowerPoint Presentation, Excel etc.

- Deep knowledge of Online and Performance Marketing

- Product Knowledge

- Stakeholder management

- Knowledge of legal metrology, agency contracts and terms of business

- Team work
