The candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, have deep understanding on consumer behavior and an ability to track number on a daily basis. This role shall entail analysis of sales numbers and the capacity to look through the maze and devise an effective strategy to achieve sales targets.
The person would be a good communicator, a team player with a good understanding of e-commerce, D2C space, pivoted on the luxury side. Experience in the Mother and Baby Category would be an added advantage.
- Responsible for online volume and value sales across Ecommerce sites and various marketplaces.
- Ability to develop a business plan for the brand including all aspects of sales & marketing for the brand
- Oversee inventory, weekly offers/ discounts, promotional strategies, and actionable insights from weekly competition analysis P&L responsibility with ownership to drive key business metrics
- Track weekly performance metrics and implement strategy to improve sales from both channel and SKU level.
- Manage a team of 4-6 Brand Managers and ensure smooth functioning of daily actionable.
- Ensure that all campaigns are planned, tracked and operate towards specific business and growth objectives. Measure and optimize performance on - ROI, retention, engagement etc.
- Regularly monitor and report key metrics around marketing performance for all channels and all domains to the partners
- Additionally responsible for creating and maintaining rich content for products on the Ecommerce platforms with the aim of emulating the brand environment on the site as well as enabling better and more informed decision making for the buyers
- Assist in merchandising, marketing, product position and site promotions.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience in a leading consumer goods company, with at least 3 years in brand management
- Good understanding of P&L and an insight on how marketing or branding efforts impact the P&L
Requirements
- Candidate should hold an MBA in marketing from a top tier B School and should have a superior academic and performance record;
- Ability to run and end to end marketing campaign including developing value proposition, creative communication, media distribution and tracking campaign ROI
- In depth understanding of content driven marketing, influencer marketing, performance marketing and digital media
- Ability to work independently and lead a team of 4-5 members.
- Highly driven, result-oriented and strong work ethics
