- Product/ Brand Innovation

- Consumer Approach

The role will create a foundation for the transition from Product-based practices to Solutions-based practices. The purpose of this job is to of partnering businesses in creating solutions that bring about customer and business impact but delivered through the approach of design thinking. This would be demonstrated through applying design thinking principals to projects as a proof-of-concept with businesses and thereby deliver profitable business outcomes through sustainable customer-centric behaviors.

Job Context & Challenges :

The company would like to take a proactive approach to future-proof its businesses. Demonstrating profitable growth by applying design thinking principles will enable businesses to imbibe the process and apply them across multiple projects across businesses.

At the very first level, the job holder should not only be extremely conversant with Design Thinking concepts and frameworks but also have relevant experience in other organizations of having implemented this practice and seen results.

Context :

1. It is a new practice, and there are very few past learnings to draw from

2. No business feels an obvious need for it, since their exposure and understanding of it is negligible at this stage - and could be seen as `one more- the initiative

3. It will be a slow burn as a practice since the environment will need to move from one of resistance to neutral to active seeking

Influencing skills, dealing with uncertainty and the ability to show quick wins along with long-term impact will be key to get momentum going. Creativity, the speed of response, a strategic mindset and a love of working in fairly open roles with an aspect of unstructured and structured at the same time will be critical to succeeding.

Business Leadership :

- Execute initiatives to improve Sales & Marketing function of targeted Businesses

- Understand Business's need for improvement and drive, with help of team leader, specific business proof of concept initiatives that have the best opportunity to create the most visible change and apply design thinking principles wherever applicable.

- To help marketing teams define requirements and support through advice and active participation

Project leadership :

- To execute projects to ensure they are implemented as per design and plan

- To plan Project related activities and ensure they are executed as per plan.

- Regularly interact and engage with stakeholders to ensure they contribute as per the plan

- Manage interactions with external agencies on a day-to-day basis with the advice of the team leader
