Job Title : Branch Manager - Wood Finish

Function : Sales

Direct Reporting : Zonal Manager

Job Location : Chennai, Kolkata & Mumbai

Job Purpose :

- Responsible for managing a state/multiple states handling a team of TEs / PSRs in the assigned territory and delivering top-line objectives of the organisation(volume and value) with focus on Key Retailer/Key Contractor activation through Treasure Hunt Activity

Key Responsibilities :

- Sales target achievement Volume and Value

- Key contractor enrolment, trials (Melamine/PU) and activation.

- Key Retailer and Key Contractor mapping in assigned location through team of TEs.

- Key retailer activation through key contractor / TR activity,

- Achieving Primary / Secondary/ Tertiary sales objectives in the assigned zone & driving BTL Activities within budget.

- Maintaining right product mix for profitability as prescribed from time to time

- Managing market outstanding. OD debtors not more than 1 % of value sales

- Team Management, Retention and Growth of team through performance/ motivation/ recognition

- Monitoring and timely settlement of schemes in the market

Key Performance Indicators :

- Achievement of Targeted Primary/ Secondary sales (both volume and value targets) and as per AOP, with specific focus on premium products.

- Key contractor/Key retailer activation as per norms

- Primary/Secondary sales through reach of distribution.

- Maintaining right product mix as per plan,

- Relationship management with Cat A outlets to facilitate sales/market share in the outlet

- Key contractor management to drive conversions/preference through TR activity

- Retention and Growth of team through performance/motivation and incentive earnings (frontline attrition - 10 % p.a)

- Communication/Monitoring of schemes and timely settlement (subsequent month) for trade

- Scheme utilization/spends in line with Approved spends

- Tracking competition activity/launch of new customized grades to enhance market share

Qualifications, Certifications And Experience :

Minimum Qualifications : Graduate/MBA (Both preferred)

Specific experience :

- Around 6-8 years in channel sales in Paint Industry/ Wood polishing/ Interior designing and other similar industry with at least 1-2 years as state head and managing a team of around 8-10 people.

- Preferably having worked in more than one location.

- Management Trainee from Tier 1 institute having work ex of 4-5 years with minimum one exposure in Paint/Ply/ Hardware industry or other similar companies.

- Knowledge of local market

Target Industries: Paints, Plywood, Ceramics, Construction Chemical, Adhesives, Building Materials, Wood finishes
