About the Organization :

The organization is a Foundation and has been functioning in the social-development sector for over 20 years across India. The organization believes that opportunities, not charity need to be provided to the less privileged people. Hence they work to bridge the gap between corporate / individuals and NGOs who wish to support development work in the country, thus enabling each organization to concentrate on its core activity. Some of the corporates who have supported the organization's efforts are HDFC, Bharti Axa, Master Card, KPMG, Tata Beverages, Boston consulting Group, Cadence Dell, Goldman Sachs, Blue Dart, ITC foods, Taj Hotels etc. Besides this, the organization also mobilizes funds through various events such as art auctions /shows to High Networth Individuals, showcasing various arts and crafts through exhibitions across the country etc. The organization's focus is to bring about a positive change in the lives of the most vulnerable people of society.

Position Description :

This position is a very important position for the organisation and is required to help set the strategic direction to achieve the organization's objectives. The Branch Manager will oversee all the activities of the branch i.e Programs, Projects, Finance, Administration, Fund raising and Communications. This position will work with corporates, individuals and grassroots implementing NGOs to ensure the achievement of organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and management leadership/guidance to the branch to ensure the branch is working towards the objectives of the organization

- Ensure smooth functioning of the day to day branch operations

- Ensure all projects are implemented as per plan and meet objectives

- Develop and implement the corporate partnership strategy and mobilize resources to achieve project / organization objectives

- Maintain a motivated team and ensure staffing is per the organizational structure

- Ensure that all policies and standard operating policies of the Organization are followed by the branch. Ensure all reporting is done to HO/ Donors as per the norms and the processes are adhered to

- Ensure all books of accounts are maintained as per the norms and the processes are adhered to

- Develop, manage and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stake holders

Required qualification, experience and skills:

- Post graduate degree

- Minimum 8 years of work experience in a corporate in an operational role or corporate fundraising in the not for profit sector. Experience in marketing, sales, corporate partnerships, client servicing, client management in media, advertising, events or industry bodies

- Self-starter, as well as a team player, with strong passion to achieve, result driven and innovative

- Strategic leadership, drive for results and management skills

- Strong on operational and implementation skills

- Strong communication, project management and organizational skills
