Role Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning
- Drive the sales strategy for the branch in alignment with the organization's business plan.
- Increase sales revenue through implementation of appropriate Go To Market (GTM) strategies and identification of new business channels.
- Understand product positioning and develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Understand and share potential gaps & opportunities, market trends, potential and competition information to leverage and explore all types of channels.
Sales Operations
- Drive aggressive distribution expansion.
- Build strong Trade relationships.
- Build & Lead a strong professional team in the branch to realize sales targets.
- Work closely with the marketing department in implementing BTL activities.
- Coordinate with concerned departments to resolve operational issues.
- Take complete ownership of product availability in the channel.
Distribution Management
- Identify right business partners, right investment, and infrastructure. Build new and expand existing business partners.
- Decide terms of trade and participate in key negotiations.
- Develop and maximize channel partner relationships and review implementation of key deliverables to enhance sales contribution (schemes, sales meet etc.)
- Consolidate and analyze distributor feedback to recommend and take corrective actions.
Reporting and process management
- Partner with Production, Product & Design functions & give feedback from market.
- Partner with Supply Chain & Finance Business Partner on Distributor /Customer Service / Collections / Overdues / Delivery TATs.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, suggest improvements and drive correction actions.
- Contribute to and Implement sales systems and processes in the branch.
