Key Result Areas:
Forecast, formulate and implement sales and distribution plans
Achieve Branch targets and ensure smooth operations of the branch.
Manage any external partners across the 3 channels of Retail, Modern Trade and General Trade.
Track Market trends / competition intelligence and provide inputs to corporate office
Responsible for Untapped & New Emerging Potential Market. Ensure appropriate deployment of sales budget to capture the growth opportunities and remain competitive in the market
Enhance distribution in the branch through business development as well as increasing the depth across channels
Other Responsibilities:
Manage a large and diverse team
Responsible for Branch audits, collections etc.
Understand and analyze competitors, market trends and general conditions that will affect the business over the short and long term
Manage Performance Management process for the team
Guide and direct training efforts that bring value to the business through better sales efficiency
Create and communicate clear action plans to optimize results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
Reports to - Regional Sales Manager (South)
Reportees - Direct (6 to 7), Indirect (100 to 120)
Responsibility - Retail(EBO), Modern Trade and General Trade Channel
Qualification and Experience:
Post Graduate Management degree with a specialization in Sales & Marketing
The desired candidate should have 5-10 years of relevant experience of managing consumer channel sales, with minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
Experience in Distribution/General Trade channel is mandatory.
