Role Description:
- We are looking for an experienced and strategic Branch Manager (Associate Director) to take charge of the branch operations of CA consulting firm.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team, ensuring client satisfaction, overseeing the P&L of the branch, and driving business growth.
- The role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in client management, and a deep understanding of financial consulting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring high levels of performance and client service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear targets, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across the team, promoting professional development and continuous learning.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training for new hires in the branch.
- Ensure team members meet service level expectations and quality standards in their deliverables.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, long lasting relationships.
- Understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional service delivery to drive client satisfaction.
- Ensure the firm's services meet or exceed client expectations, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional services to clients.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports to clients.
P&L Management:
- Take ownership of the branch's P&L, ensuring profitability and cost management.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies for revenue growth, cost control, and margin optimization.
- Monitor billing and collections, ensuring the branch meets its financial targets.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports in coordination with the finance team.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to assess financial and operational performance.
Business Development & Growth:
- Contribute to the growth and strategic development of the firm's branch by identifying new business opportunities and markets.
- Engage in networking and brand-building activities to expand the client base.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align the branch's goals with the firm's overall strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase the firm's market share in the region.
Operational Excellence & Compliance:
- Ensure branch operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry regulations and firm policies.
- Implement best practices to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and improve client service.
- Monitor the compliance of all deliverables, ensuring adherence to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of all audits, filings, reports, and other deliverables in line with deadlines.
Qualifications:
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
MBA (Finance) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 14-21 years of experience in a leadership role within a CA consulting firm or related service industry.
- Proven experience in managing P&L, client relationships, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial consulting services, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in business development and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
