Job Role : Branch Manager

Enhancement of Deposit Pool from Customers:


- This involves strategizing and implementing initiatives to attract more deposits from customers.


- It could include promoting various deposit products offered by the bank, providing incentives, and fostering relationships with existing and potential customers to encourage them to deposit more funds.


Establishing Standards and Delivery of Service:


- The BM is responsible for ensuring that the branch maintains high standards of customer service.


- This involves setting service quality benchmarks, training staff to meet these standards, and continuously monitoring and improving customer satisfaction levels.


Sale of Non-Deposit Products:


- In addition to deposits, the BM is tasked with promoting and selling other financial products offered by the bank, such as loans, credit cards, and investment products.


- This requires a thorough understanding of the bank's product portfolio and the ability to match products to customers' needs.


Sale of Mutual Fund (MF) and Insurance Products:


- This involves promoting and selling mutual fund and insurance products to customers.

Fee Income:


- Generating fee income is an important aspect of the branch's revenue generation.

Branch Administration:

Regulatory Compliance:


- Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies is a critical responsibility of the BM. This includes staying updated on regulatory changes, implementing necessary measures to maintain compliance, and conducting regular audits to identify and address any compliance issues.


Manage Productivity and Morale of Branch Personnel:


- The BM is responsible for leading and motivating branch staff to achieve performance targets and deliver excellent customer service.
