Job Title: Branch Head (Event Management agency) - (70% business development + 30% operations)

Location: Mumbai

Experience Level: 10+ years

Job Type: Full-Time - Work from Office - 5 days working

Reports to: Senior Vice-President

Please note event management experience is mandatory. This is a business development role. The profile will be 70% business development + 30% operations.Candidates from event management agency/industry will only be considered.

Job Description:

- We are currently seeking a Branch Head to join our dynamic team in supporting a culture of excellence in customer service towards our internal and external business stakeholders.

- As a Branch Head, you will be accountable for business development and new client acquisition and developing and maintaining new partnerships with vendors and clients in Mumbai.

- Your will be required to maintain the highest levels of project management by liaising with stakeholders to drive successful campaign delivery outcomes across it's portfolio of data, design, digital and event assets, working across a client base of national and international brands.

- You will be accountable for end-to-end campaign management, including but not limited to supporting sales secure future briefs, building, and testing all campaign creatives to ensure they meet the specifications.

- The Branch Head will be primarily responsible for overseeing business development/new client acquisition and all agency operational services and activities related to a key account.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New business development and client acquisition - 70%

2. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives.

3. Maintains an external awareness of the event management industry and related production trends, materials, techniques, technology etc.

4. Reviews analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress towards stated goals and objectives.

5. Provides guidance for production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding services ordered.

6. Provides guidance in the development of an event process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.

7. Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

8. Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs further preventing operational delays.

9. Negotiations with vendor on cost - minimize costs despite provision of superior quality deliverables for client.

10. Provide cost Justification to client.

11. Provide production feasibility feedback before the final plan is developed.

12. Provide innovative solutions to fulfill client/creative aspirations.

13. Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to.

14. Ensure that constant development in production tools enables to be better than competitors.

15. Ensure acceptable profitability levels for each project.

16. Review pre-event materials: revised and final costs, copy of pro-formas, layouts, copy of designs, copy of all prior communication with client, list of materials required for setup, vendor delivery schedule and set up schedule.

17. Ensure timely delivery of materials of desired quality by vendor.

18. Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.

19. Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

20. Final set up, matches creatives approved by client.

21. Smooth and cohesive event flow with no glitches

22. Dismantling of setup in orderly and timely manner

23. Participate in event de-brief.

24. Closing event with all necessary bills and documents within the prescribed time frame

Qualifications:

- Post-Graduation from Event Management Institute

- Vendor base knowledge

- Latest technology knowledge

- Expertise in costing

- Ability to provide innovative solutions to fulfill client/creative aspirations.

- Good at multi-tasking and coordination

- Experience in negotiating contracts and handling budgets

- Good communication skills

- Leadership and organizational skills

- Good at Microsoft Windows applications

- Dedicated attention to detail

- Perform well in individual or team environment.

- Time and Resource Optimization

- Highly analytical team player with aptitude for quickly scrutinizing environments to identify and prioritize needs/risks and develop solutions.

- Ability to handle / supervise projects with team (starting from concept to execution to closing all by himself/ herself)

- Creativity to think out of the box and execution excellence to achieve desired goals.

- Inter-personal maturity and organizational skill
