Branch Head / Business Head - Bangalore - Leading Insurance company
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
1. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve individual, department and branch sales goals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to enhance their performance and professional development. Conduct need based Learning & Development sessions.
2. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans for corporate sales within the branch.
- Set ambitious sales targets and monitor progress toward achieving them.
3. Client Acquisition, Servicing and Relationship Management:
- Actively participate in identifying and pursuing new corporate client accounts.
- Efficient and Effective Customer Service leading to Highest Level of Renewal Retention.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients and serve as a point of escalation for any client issues or concerns.
- Claims Management for both commercial and employee benefit businesses.
4. Revenue Generation and Profitability:
- Drive revenue growth within the branch by meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
- Monitor branch profitability and take necessary actions to ensure financial objectives are met.
5. Market Analysis and Business Development:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for corporate sales
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensuring that the IRDA (Insurance Brokers) Regulations, that are in force are adhered to in their respective areas.
- Ensure all branch activities, including sales practices and client interactions while maintaining the highest level of ethical standards.
7. Reporting and Performance Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records and provide reports of branch performance figures, sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other branches, departments, and corporate support functions to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Share feedback with senior management to improve products and services based on client needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters (preferred) degree.
- Mandatory Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India
- Strong technical knowledge of all lines of business - Property, Marine, Liability, Employee Benefits etc.
- Good knowledge of market/ business and competition
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Work Experience:- GI Insurance Experience min 10-12 years with Insurer/Broker;
- Last 3 years or more in a leadership role.
- Needs to know the insurance fraternity (PSU and Private in the geography)
