As a Branch Credit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing credit decisions, managing credit quality, and ensuring the overall financial health of the branch's loan portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate loan applications based on available information and interactions with applicants.
- Make sound credit decisions that balance risk and reward.
- Manage credit quality and control delinquency rates.
- Implement measures to prevent fraud.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators, including loan losses, portfolio quality, cost of credit administration, and employee productivity.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in credit or underwriting.
- Knowledge: Understanding of portfolio metrics and credit risk management principles.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members, applicants, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve branch goals.

- Credit Risk Management: In-depth knowledge of credit risk management frameworks and methodologies.
