Job Purpose:

- As an Associate - Branch Audit, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive inspections and quality reviews across our branch network.

- This role is crucial in identifying and mitigating operational risks, ensuring branches are well-prepared for audits and risk assessments.

Key Accountabilities:

- Conduct Onsite and Offsite Control Testing: Perform thorough testing of branch controls, covering all aspects of branch activities, to validate adherence to operational procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Travel Requirement: You will be required to travel to various branches across the country to conduct audits and assessments.

- This involves both onsite visits and remote evaluations.

- Coordinate and Review Self-Assessment: Facilitate and review self-assessment activities conducted by branches, ensuring accuracy and completeness in identifying operational strengths and weaknesses.

- Collaborate for Issue Remediation: Work closely with branch managers, regional/cluster operations heads, and other stakeholders to address and resolve issues identified during audits and reviews.

This includes developing and implementing remediation plans to strengthen branch controls and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Educational Background: MBA or Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.

- Experience: You should have at least 5 years of experience in branch auditing, internal auditing, or a related field within the financial services industry.

- Experience in conducting control testing and risk assessments is highly desirable.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or anomalies that could indicate potential risks or control deficiencies.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with branch personnel and stakeholders at various levels.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in audit findings and reports.
