POSITION SUMMARY :

Understanding our internal customers' behaviors is a critical driver of BCG's Knowledge function's prioritization of service offerings and platform enhancements. We sit on a wealth of information regarding employee knowledge activities and satisfaction, which can be harnessed to drive our strategy most effectively.

The User Insight Analyst focuses on our enterprise knowledge platforms and supports all facets of decision making (clickstream analysis, outcomes analysis, search analysis, multivariate testing analysis). The individual works with the Knowledge business and technology teams to identify improvement possibilities in information organization and its relevance to business.

Through use of analytical skills and strategic perspective, the analyst will improve user satisfaction and create more engagement with our platforms and services. This role will involve a high level of interaction with Practice Areas, Information Technology, and other key functions acting as the voice of the user.

Job Responsibilities :

EXPERIENCE : 3 years of relevant job experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Apply Web and Analytics skills to mine through BCG knowledge portal digital data and communicate results to stakeholders

- Analyze user behavior - patterns, trends and predict, the impact of changes

- Identify content opportunities to support practice area goals and key performance indicators

- Collaborate with KM and Collaboration teams to optimize intranet resources

- Assist with administration and support requests. Quickly respond to ad hoc analytic requests which are common in our data-driven environment

- Develop web analytics dashboards for different stakeholder groups

- Analyze data from various sources (web behavior, databases, etc.) and prepare insightful reports based on the findings

- Provide training to new users (from all cohorts) on using the web analytics tool

- Assist with the rollout of new releases (web analytics tools, visualization tools, etc.). Analyze business requirements and collaborate with IT team to translate them into technical specifications for tool enhancements and upgrades

Basic Job Requirements :

- Proficiency with web analytics tools like Adobe analytics and Google analytics

- Strong analytic and technical thought process with ability to identify scope for new analysis areas & opportunities

- Proficient in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint tools for data analysis and presenting purpose

- Strong Data analysis skills with ability to work on large data sets, identify data anomalies, interpret findings, identify trends, and generate insights with attention to details and accuracy

- Adept at visualizing and presenting the findings in a meaningful manner

- Strong knowledge of current best practices and standards to provide effective guidance to intranet team and page owners

- Stays abreast of current trends and best practices in web analytics and digital marketing as well as with analytics tools and techniques

- Competent in stakeholder management with excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people

- Knowledge of Agile methodology is desirable
