This job is to hire a CEO candidate for Borderline Studio and Borderline Play (borderlineplay.in).

These are originally designed products across the furniture and home decor space all created by founder and design head, Anica Kochhar.

We're looking at a CEO to help streamline the business across both furniture and home decor categories, help hire relevant operations, merchandising and sales personnel and scale up the business across India and abroad.

Each product exudes an international appeal, while celebrating Indian workmanship by manufacturing in India. Our vision is to be top Indian based contemporary luxury brand in the world and have fun while doing it.

The Opportunity:

This is a very exciting opportunity to help grow one of the hottest lifestyle brand in India. We design furniture, table top objects and carpets currently. We're looking for someone who can be a great cultural fit as well as understand the nitty gritties of growing us into a competitive global brand.

Responsibilities:

- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong vision for scaling the business functions by leveraging our award winning products

- Hire and mentor strong division leads to grow a robust organisational culture

- Build Borderline Studio into a strong national and international brand

- Work closely with founder to sharpen product vision into actionable revenue channels

- Strong cash-flow focus, managing revenue and expenses to maintain the consistent growth of the business

- Grow and improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

- Developing strategic operating plans that reflect the longer-term objectives

Requirements:

- Courageous decision making ability based on data and intuition

- 5+ years of work experience in functional roles such as management, marketing, or operations

- Useful to have industry experience in merchandising, marketing, fashion retail, lifestyle or luxury retail

- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, business development and growth

- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

- Degree in Business, Operations Management, Merchandising or related field

- Flexible and Iterative in thought process and action
