- We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Category Manager to own and drive growth in a vertical business category. Each category would be treated as business unit where you would own P&L and specialization in that vertical. These would be B2C categories.
- This role involves taking full responsibility for developing and managing the category's strategy, operations, and customer experience to maximize growth and profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on business experience, specializing deeply within a category and driving its success from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a specific category, overseeing all aspects from strategy and operations to growth initiatives and customer experience.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities within the category, optimizing offerings to meet demand and drive revenue.
- Develop scalable processes to manage and improve category performance, including cost control, quality standards, and service delivery.
- Set and monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and ensure performance targets are consistently met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage insights, share best practices, and enhance category performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a specialization-driven approach to category management.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced education in a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, set strategies, and implement efficient processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
