Role Overview:

- As a Category Manager Accessories (Socks & Innerwear), you will be responsible for developing, sourcing, and managing the product category. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of these products, from market analysis and vendor sourcing to product launch and performance monitoring. Your role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality products that align with Boldfit's standards, market trends, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Category Strategy & Development:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the socks and innerwear category.

- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.

- Define the product roadmap, including new launches, product improvements, and discontinuations.

2. Product Sourcing & Vendor Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and manufacturers for accessories.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising

quality.

- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with Boldfits

standards.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain product quality standards.

- Ensure all products meet legal, ethical, and environmental compliance requirements.

- Address and resolve quality issues proactively with suppliers.

4. Sales & Performance Monitoring:

- Track the performance of the accessories category, including sales, margins, and customer feedback.

- Use data analytics to identify top-performing products and areas for improvement.

- Adjust strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

5. Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

- Work closely with inventory and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Plan procurement cycles based on sales forecasts, seasonal demand, and promotional activities.

6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan campaigns, promotions, and product launches.

- Coordinate with design and R&D teams to innovate and enhance product offerings.

- Align with finance teams to ensure budget adherence and cost management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification (preferred).

Experience:

- 4-7 years of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement (experience with

accessories, innerwear, or D2C brands is preferred).

Technical Skills:

- Strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes.

- Proficiency in data analytics tools and MS Office (especially Excel).

- Experience with ERP or category management software is a plus.

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Creative mindset with the ability to identify market trends and innovate accordingly.

- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
