Job Description :
- This position reports to the International Strategic Partnerships (ISP) India Country Manager in supporting the fulfillment of existing offset commitments and the pursuit of new business opportunities. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage offset program execution as per the contract; work closely with Boeing internal stakeholders such as International Supplier Management, International Contracts, Aircraft Programs, etc., to drive offset program performance; manage and track offset program budgets.
- Interface with Indian Ministry of Defense offset customer (Defense Offset Management Wing) and Indian Service Headquarters to execute offset programs as per the Defense Procurement Procedure (DPP) guidelines
- Coordinate with internal Boeing stakeholders, Indian Offset Partners (IOPs) and customer (Ministry of Defense) to undertake activities related to submission of offset claims, including but not limited to development and compilation of documents supporting offset reports such as purchase orders, invoices, offset credit claim forms and any other documents as required by the customer.
- Support offset proposal development in response to customer (Indian Ministry of Defense, Indian Service Headquarters) requests
Competencies :
Necessary skills include :
- Ability to coordinate with Boeing and non-Boeing stakeholders (Ministry of Defense - Defense Offset Management Wing, Customers, and Indian Offset Partners) to support the above listed activities;
- Good analytical skills to analyze the data related to offset budgets, credit claims, etc.;
- Good oral and written communication skills to articulate the supporting documentation related requirements to Indian Offset Partners and internal Boeing stakeholders;
- Understand and communicate requirements in presentations, one-on-one discussions and in written documentation with Boeing, Indian industry, and Indian government representatives;
- Work successfully in a global team environment, including developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, enterprise-wide Business Units, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or commerce is preferred; MBA from reputed business schools is required (such as IIMs).
- At least 3.0 years of Industry experience working in cross-functional and global environment requiring coordination with multiple stakeholders. Experience in working with Government and Public Sector customer would be helpful for this role. Prior experience/ understanding of offsets is preferred.
