Job Description
Position Description:
- Maintain Boeing India entities accounting processes, procedures and reporting practices in accordance with Indian fiduciary and Boeing financial standards. Executes internal controls and ensures oversight as it pertains to company financial policies and regulations.
- Responsible for producing financial set of books and financial statements which are compliant and auditable per Indian regulations. The candidate should have experience in working in a diverse, changing and growing business environment.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with different functional teams in India and US to ensure:
- Accurate and timely accounting and maintenance of books and records in various Accounting/Finance Systems
- Generate various Reports from the Accounting system for review and follow up
- Compliance with various laws and regulations
- Identification and reporting of concerns in a timely way.
- Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information and related reports that are both used internally (by India and US home offices) and externally (by local authorities).
- Assist in the preparation of all Financial Statements statutory and tax
- Provides necessary support and accurate information to auditors, both external and internal.
- Acts as back up to other team members as needed.
- Other tasks and duties requested by management.
Competencies:
- Experience of working in an ERP environment like Oracle, SAP
- Working knowledge of Indian Taxes
- Excellent understanding of Indian GAAP and US GAAP (preferred)
- Advanced computing skills (MS Office Suite of Software, particularly MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
- Advanced level of English language skills (read, write, and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
- Flexible team player who is comfortable working in a multicultural environment
- Organizational skills, strong analytical skills
- Track record of working successfully in a high paced environment

Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of experience post Chartered Accountant Qualification; work experience with US multinational required
