Job Description:
Boeing is seeking a paralegal to support the Global Law Affairs group, India/Middle East/Africa (IMEA). The IMEA Paralegal will report to the Business Manager for the Boeing Law Department and the Country Counsel for India, and interface with a variety of Law Department attorneys and staff in regard to particular business unit or functional matters. The position is located in New Delhi, India. Responsibilities include:
Corporate Secretarial Matters:
- Coordinate with the India Country Counsel, IMEA Paralegal Team, key functionaries across Boeing entities in India and Boeing Corporate Secretary's Office on substantive corporate secretarial activity in India, liaise with external counsel as instructed;
- Develop substantive base of knowledge on requirements for governance activities across all Boeing entities in India;
- Calendar management related to Board/Shareholder Meetings for all Boeing entities in India;
- Track corporate filings and deadlines;
- Assist in preparation of documentation and records management for Board and Shareholder meetings for all entities; and maintain statutory records and index of all filings under the Companies Act;
- Assist the Country Counsel in review of statutory records with the statutory and internal auditors during audits.
Compliance Management:
- Coordinate on matters pertaining to India Compliance Tool and work with key functionaries in all Boeing entities in India on proactive compliance management;
- Manage records and file retention;
Office Support:
- Support India Country Counsel on preparation of PowerPoint presentations and training materials;
- Management of Country Counsel's calendar and meeting schedules;
- Management and processing of Country Counsel's travel and expense reports; and
- Any other administrative functions as required.
The candidate should work well with others, clearly communicating requirements, expectations and deadlines, asking questions to obtain and share relevant information. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and must be able to prioritize activities and perform multiple tasks while maintaining quality, speed, and accuracy. The candidate must work well in a team environment, including coordination with colleagues and clients in multiple time zones. The candidate should have solid skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Fluent English is required for this position.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have Graduate Degree and 4+ years- relevant experience (in a compliance/office administration function) with an international company or law firm.
