There is one position for international locally hired Boeing Data Analyst / Logistics Representative to be part of the P-8 India in country team to be based at the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Rajali base near Arakkonam, Chennai.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Base Support Team that will provide on-site support to the Indian Navy, including inventory control, stock management, packaging and transportation, and Import and Export documentation control, etc. The individual will also be providing Data Analysis on parts usage, trending, part ordering, and proposal status to the P-8 team based in the United States.
Your key responsibilities will be :
- He/ She will require a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and be capable of using Pivot Tables to analysis data. Knowledge of commercial 737's and 737 parts is highly desirable.
- The individual will also recommend repair sourcing decisions, processes, documentation of repairable items, process and follow up warranties and will support supplier/customer presentations and program reviews.
- The candidate will use business, communications and experience/training to make decisions and at times work independently from main/ forward operating locations with minimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to sustain the customer operations and to achieve this, work effectively and efficiently with the core P-8 India team based in India/ abroad.
- Ideal candidate must have demonstrated & successful experience working with computerized Supply Support Systems data in a direct customer relationship.
- The ability to use data to arrive at predictive solutions is a key feature to this job.
- Prior knowledge/ experience working with the Indian Navy and /or in a commercial airline will be an advantage.
- Candidate must be able to identify unique supply solutions using innovation and prior experience preferably in an International supply environment to execute program objectives.
- Prior experience of mission execution in a geographically remote or bare-base location will be an advantage.
- Experience working with international customers; supporting military airlift; and expertise with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)/ Boeing Commercial Aircraft procurement systems, will be an advantage.
- Knowledge and training on Boeing 737 spares and supply support processes and procedures.
- A proven ability to use data to develop creative supply solutions to complex logistic support problems is highly desirable.
- Work may include flexible shifts and may also require to respond during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree with typically 6 or more years' related work experience or Master's degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
