Job Description :

- Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) is The Boeing Company's Research & Technology division developing technologies for a wide variety of products and services, with presence in various locations in the world. BR&T-India based in Bangalore, India is an integral part of BR&T and is engaged in the development of advanced aerospace technologies.

- The BR&T Center in India is looking for a Content Specialist for our Engineering, Operations & Technology Group to enhance coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities of this position include :

- Support organizational leaders to develop, maintain, and edit featured articles, reports, blogs and content for internal and external communication (e.g., online web design and maintenance).

- Work on projects with a creative bent and bring in Innovative ideas for better deliverables.

- Deliver informational or technical materials (such as proposals, briefings, management reviews, status reports, newsletters, technical papers, brochures) to customers, partners, suppliers and Boeing employees. Organize / lead creation of posters, videos and exhibits.

- Support organizational leaders in the development and implementation of plans and objectives (e.g. long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives) to meet requirements for enhanced coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

- Gather complex data through research from multiple sources to compile or create unique content for management reviews and tracking performance to plan. Eye for research and fact finding; ability to present industrial content in neutral manner without losing the inherent message and adding value to copy

- Coordinate and perform a variety of support services (e.g. web design and maintenance, communications, publications, review process documentation, asset management, forms design and delivery, etc.) and serve as a representative for the organization. Ability to work with strict deadlines with strong analytical skills.

- Develop, coordinate and continuously assess overall meeting/review architecture providing design logistics and facilitation of large events to ensure that visibility is provided on appropriate and required information. Works with leadership to determine the purpose and content of each meeting/review, coordinates and develops executive level briefings and utilizes appropriate technologies to enable global interaction/collaboration.

- Create templates and coordinate creation of standardized PowerPoint presentations. Create and maintain material for communication via the internal website and inSite

- Develop and maintain the schedule for special projects, monitor and track execution of the plan and communicates status to all project participants.

- Participate in and supports the development planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and morale (e.g., employee survey analysis and action planning, all-employee meetings, award programs, safety activities, open houses, tours, community events)

- Provide support to special projects as needed

- This position will be located in the Boeing Research and Technology Center, Bangalore, India, and reports to the Director of the BR&T Centre.

- The selected individual will work closely with various other functions such as Communications, HR, finance and training. The selected individual will develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with Boeing internal customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects.

- The selected individual will coordinate all internal and external communication with appropriate communication focal and follow all associated Boeing policies and procedures.

- This position may require occasional travel within India.

- This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in India. Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience is required; OR a Master's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience is preferred

- Candidates with previous experience in communication, website management and corporate publications will be given preference.

- Must be very fluent in spoken and written English, and have excellent communication style.

- Candidates with demonstrated experience in visual arts / graphics will be preferred.
