Purpose:
To work effectively with Partner/Director on critical client issues along with his/her team. To oversee the execution and develop the M&A practice
Main Priorities:
- Execution excellence- ability to manage a deal on an end to end basis.
- Depth of technical expertise in corporate M&A (buy and sell side), PE fund raise- understanding of deal process, valuation, assessment of strategic fit, evaluating the financial health of a company, etc.
- Client management- at mid management levels to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Business development: Ability to understand the industry, company’s specific to develop a thought provoking and well researched pitch.
- Industry specialist in the field of Technology (IT, BPO, eCommerce, internet)

- Marketing ability: selling other services of the firm to the client

Qualifications required : CA or MBA from a top tier school
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Industry knowledge of industry players and making/ analyzing economic models/ business plans, valuations, financial advisory, structuring, good understanding and interpretation skills on tax & regulatory issues
- Good technical thinking.
- Good communication skills: verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and marketing skills.
- Good presentation skills
- Good flow and thought process
Experience required:
- 4-6 years’ experience with a corporate finance firm, private equity fund that look at this sector or an M&A team of large technology (IT, BPO, eCommerce, internet) company.
- Experience working on 4-5 deals minimum, end to end.
