BMR Advisors - Associate - Indirect Tax

- Work closely with Assistant Managers and above to execute client and internal assignments.

- Research on issues relating to Value Added Taxes, Central Sales Tax, Entry Taxes, Excise, Customs, Service Tax, Foreign Trade Policy and other related taxes

- To manage the client engagement team and deliver outputs.

- Fundamental research with respect to specific components of an assignment

- Fundamental (Basic) analysis with respect to specific problem area of an assignment

- Proactively thinking and analysing the issues before discussion

- Documentation of reports and presentations as specified by the assigned lead

- Execute timely day to day tasks with the highest standards

- Support the execution team with timely closure of assigned responsibility with the client deliverables

- Show improvement in execution (time and quality) output from assignment to assignment

- Show improvement in knowledge and skills from assignment to assignment
