Analyst - Investment banking (Technology and outsourcing) - Mumbai

Job description:

The jobholder will be responsible for diligently supporting the team in various sell-side and buy-side M&A and fund-raising mandates.

Below are the predominant responsibilities:

- Support in creation of pitch books, teasers, information memorandum, company profiles, effective presentations, reports, memos, emails (internal and external), etc as part of team

- Carry out effective market research, industry research, target and buyer search, etc

- Collating comparable deal data from financial databases like CapitalIQ and other sources

- Support in creating financial and models and company / business valuation

Qualifications:

- Fresh graduates looking to pursue 1.5 – 3 years from reputed MBA tier 1 institutes.

- Preference for candidates from A category Graduation colleges, IIT, reputed engineering institutes, etc

- CFA (completed or ongoing) could be an added advantage

Skills/ Knowledge:

- Strong academic background

- Reasonably good technical ability, logical reasoning and ability to work under pressure

- Good knowledge of MS PPT and Excel

Experience:

- 0-1 year of prior experience (preferable not mandatory) doing activities like company research, equity research, business / company valuations, etc
