Title: Analyst/ Sr. Analyst - Life Sciences

Location: Bangalore, India

Manager/Supervisor: Consultant /Sr Consultant- Life Sciences

Purpose:

a. Technical Pipeline analysis (moAs, biomarkers, clinical valuation)

b. Mentoring junior associates on the technical front

c. Technical leadership of scientific projects

d. Module leadership of integrated projects

Expectations:

Target Analysis- Due diligence of biological target to identify role in disease pathogenesis:

Target-Indication Analysis- Evaluate relative indications based on target

Indication-Target Analysis- Identify best target within the indication (Target Gradient map).

Prioritization of preclinical and discovery stage molecules-: On the basis of MOA/Target and technical parameters of molecules, the best molecules are prioritized that has potential to address disease unmet need and has high probability to go for clinical phase (Preclinical analysis map).

Pipeline Analysis- Scouting of global pipeline molecules such as small molecules, biologic, novel platform for a given indication and collect all information in alignment with SOPs.

Biomarker/Companion diagnostic analysis for indication- Find relative biomarkers for given indication and prioritize them based of relevance in the pathogenesis of disease.

Provide scientific/technical support to other projects based on their scope

General:

- Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest solutions

- Think creatively to identify new and relevant information sources

- Work towards building domain expertise in various subject matters researched

Scope

- Must work independently within a team structure

- Interaction with internal team members

- Work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Flexible work hours - may be required to work late nights/weekends

- Travel may be required

Skills & Experience Required Experience:

M.Sc., M. Pharma, M. Tech. or PhDs. Preferred

Experience - 1-6yrs

- Knowledge of Pharmacology,

- Literature review & scientific analysis & interpretation,

- Therapeutic target analysis,

- Wet Lab research experience,

- Experience in Indian/MNC Pharma,

- Awareness/knowledge of latest drug discovery & design technologies.

Tools and Techniques:

- Good hands-on experience in developing summaries and reports from various secondary data sources

- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English

- Familiarity and ability to comprehend basic quantitative data commonly used in business analysis

- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
