BLP Group - Head - Analytics

Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Head of Analytics to lead our dynamic analytics team in Bangalore. This role requires a strong background in both Data Analytics and Visual Analytics, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and engage with clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analytics professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in analytics.

2. Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable analytics strategies and solutions.

3. Data Analytics: Utilize time series analysis, model development, and computer vision techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets.

4. Visual Analytics: Develop and implement data visualization strategies to convey complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

5. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Python, and have experience in large image processing.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics).

2. Proven experience of 10-15 years in data analytics, with a focus on time series analysis, model development, and computer vision.

3. Exceptional technical skills in Python and a strong understanding of data processing and visualization libraries.

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

5. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

6. Experience working in client-facing roles and a track record of successfully delivering analytics solutions to clients.
