BlackSoil - Senior Associate/AVP/VP - Real Estate

- Blacksoil Capital has so far disbursed more than ~INR 475 Crores across 30+ deals in seventeen months of operation and has successfully exited from 10 deals. Our core competencies are Venture Debt, Structured Debt, Real Estate Funding and SME Funding

- We need proactive, motivated and confident professionals having strong Communication skills with 3+ years of experience with Banks/ NBFCs/Investment Banks/Corporate Finance in Corporates or other such financial institutions.

- Candidate should be able to meet and maintain good relations with the clients

- Ability to work with and lead a team and the ability to work under high pressure situations and run with multiple transactions together.

- Should have minimum 5 years of experience in real estate (debt or equity) diligence, investing in start-ups from a NBFC / Fund / Bank/reputed investment bank/Venture capital firm etc

- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot/V-Lookup/Sum if/If conditions/Match Functions/Offset functions/Advance Excel skills etc.

- Building an excel based models consisting of income statement projections, Balance sheet, Revenue analysis, models etc.

- Analysis of bank statements and financial statements in order to perform analysis.

- Performing financial due diligence while doing complex analysis such as working capital analysis, Revenue analysis etc.

- Relevant experience in real estate background

- Developing financial models as a tool to assessing the investment opportunities

- Deep understanding of the approvals involved in different types of Real Estate Transactions

- Deep understanding of the cash flows involved in a Real Estate Transaction (Costing; Sales Estimates, Escrow Mechanism etc)

- MIS analysis, comparing actual Vs business plans, NOC monitoring and highlighting the deviations from covenants.

- Work involves running and taking the responsibility of the transactions right from signing of the term sheet till the closure of the loan

- Creating Innovative structures to meet both the Lender and the Borrower's requirements
