Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Investment Banking Analyst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting senior bankers in executing transactions, conducting financial analyses, and providing strategic insights to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Create and maintain complex financial models to analyze potential transactions, valuations, and financial performance.
- Conduct in-depth industry research and analysis to support investment decisions.
2. Due Diligence:
- Assist in conducting due diligence activities, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive analysis and risk assessment.
3. Transaction Execution:
- Support senior bankers in the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other financial transactions.
- Coordinate with legal, regulatory, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
4. Client Communication:
- Prepare and contribute to client presentations, pitch books, and other communication materials.
- Engage with clients to gather information and address inquiries.
5.Market Research:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence.
6. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Contribute to a positive and dynamic team culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from prodigy colleges / universities only.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, finance, or a related industry.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
