Title: Team Lead - Research & Consulting
Role: Lead a small but growing team of Research Analysts & consultants
Location: NCR
Reporting in to: Vice president - Consulting
A leadership role to be the Team Lead- Research & consulting for a growing, niche consulting Firm, Head Quartered in Singapore, to manage research and client delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high quality, high performance client delivery organisation
- Lead a team of in-house and outsourced research analysts to build relevant, sharp and business like content for clients.
- Be responsible for maintaining the set charge ability, revenue realization and productivity levels
- Work closely with the leadership to scope the work, risks, most efficient costs and delivery time lines and support the leadership to close new deals
- Understand the customer requirements, their business drivers and their solution's value propositions and link all those while developing content
- Undertake responsibilities of research independently for defined scope of work including secondary research, primary research, Thought leadership interviews and discussions with Senior leadership
- Responsible for creating processes, creating templates and Knowledge Management Best practices
- Create best practices and guide the team to use public information and paid reports to gather appropriate data, synthesize them, analyse them and sharpen them to make it extremely relevant to the Client needs
- Single point contact for all client escalations regarding delivery timelines, delivery quality & delivery content
- Manage projects within the costs and timelines planned
- Take the lead in internal discussions and briefing pertaining to the research work done with team, peers, managers and founders
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of data gathered and the content prepared
- Lead an internal team of Research Analysts and consultants
Preferred Competencies
- Strong hands on experience in doing secondary research, creating models & drawing sharp inferences
- Exposure to doing primary research, thought leadership discussions, creating models and drawing sharp inferences
- Strong experience in managing client delivery organizations in KPOs
- Good scoping & project cost estimation skills
- Strong business knowledge and understanding of business drivers
- Strong process & program management capabilities
- Good communication, presentation and listening skills
- High Executive presence
- Excellent Microsoft Office products skills (Excel, Power Point) for preparing Client reports and presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- 6-8 years in the Research & KPO Industry with atleast 3 years in Client Delivery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and organizational skills
- Strong Business Acumen
- Ability to work in a small and growing team environment and share best practices regularly
- Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures
- Ability to manage inhouse and an outsourced team would an added plus
- Strong problem solving ability
- Ability to travel up to 10%
