Job Description Overview

A Research Analyst for a growing, niche Consulting Firm, Head Quartered in Singapore, to manage research, analysis and content preparation.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Understand the Client's domain of work, business drivers and value proposition

- Use public information and paid reports to gather appropriate data, synthesize them, sharpen them to make it extremely relevant to the Client needs and prepare a report either in Microsoft Powerpoint/Excel/Word

- To brainstorm with Manager on making the reports highly relevant and valuable for the end Client

- Take the lead in internal discussions and briefing pertaining to the research work done with peers, managers and founders

- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of data gathered and report prepared

Preferred Competencies

- Strong understanding in the field of Business Research, Financial KPI, Consulting and Data Analytics.

- Ability to read annual reports and extract Financial Information and analyse the same

- Adequate hands on experience in doing secondary research & drawing sharp inferences

- Prior experience in primary research (Preferred)

- Adequate business knowledge and understanding of business drivers

- Good communication, presentation and listening skills

- Excellent Microsoft Office products skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) for preparing Client reports and presentations

- A proactive learner with a flair for adopting emerging trends & addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives & quality norms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong Business Acumen

- Ability to work in a team environment and share best practices regularly

- Adaptable working style to conform to the varied client needs

- Strong problem solving ability

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA preferred

- Formal training in using Microsoft Office products preferred

- 1-3 years in the Research & KPO Industry
