About Function:
Raw Material Consolidation (RMC) - This function manages raw material business mainly ferrous and non-ferrous commodities. Trading of steel mainly, strategic relationships to build import partnerships for the same.
What you'll be doing:
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the steel sector (billets/Scrap).
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Negotiating sales contracts and closing deals. Meeting or exceeding sales targets along with cross-selling different products.
- Keeping accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
- Staying up-to-date on steel industry trends and competitors.
What will make you a great candidate:
- The candidate should have prior experience of 5-8 years in hunting B2B clients and onboarding them.
- A clear demonstration of hunting abilities is needed. The role requires candidates with an affinity for action and needs to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in fast-moving B2B steel billets or scrap sales preferred.
