What You'll Be Doing?

Supplier Coordination:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely order fulfillment and resolving any supply issues.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement practices.

- Track and report on supplier performance, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels and delivery timelines.

Sales & Supply Planning:

- Collaborate with sales teams to understand order requirements, forecast demand, and align procurement activities accordingly.

- Develop and implement sales and supply plans, ensuring inventory levels meet market demands while minimizing excess stock.

- Work with the operations team to track and monitor inventory data, providing accurate insights into stock levels, movements, and requirements.

- Inventory & Supplier Fulfillment Data Management

- Analyze inventory and supplier fulfillment data to identify gaps, optimize stock availability, and reduce lead times.

- Ensure continuous improvement of inventory management processes in collaboration with operations teams.

Product Costing & Cost Sheets:

- Manage product costing activities, developing and maintaining detailed cost sheets for all products and suppliers.

- Provide insights and recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, ensuring procurement aligns with financial objectives.

Hedging & Risk Management:

- Work with relevant teams to fill hedging positions, ensuring the business is protected from price volatility and market risks.

- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop strategies for managing pricing risk across domestic and international markets.

Logistics Coordination:

- Partner with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient truck placements and transportation of goods.

- versee the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics operations, optimizing delivery schedules and reducing costs.

Financial Coordination:

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely payments to suppliers, maintaining strong supplier relationships and credit terms.

- Track and monitor payment status, resolving discrepancies and facilitating smooth financial operations.

Pricing & Market Analysis:

- Track daily pricing trends from multiple suppliers and warehouses, preparing pricing reports for the sales and procurement teams.

- Analyze market dynamics and develop competitive pricing strategies that align with business goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with operations, sales, finance, and logistics teams to drive a unified approach to procurement operations.

- Ensure transparent communication, data sharing, and alignment of goals across departments.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in procurement operations, supply chain management, or a related role.

- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

- Proficiency in inventory planning and cost analysis.

- Deep understanding of product costing, market pricing dynamics, and hedging strategies.

- Ability to analyze and interpret inventory, supply chain, and pricing data.

- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.

- Familiarity with logistics coordination and payment tracking.
