Job Description :
- To interact with State and Central Government departments / Senior officials for resolving issues / Push for changes or new initiatives for the company / sector.
- Liaise with Government machinery and establish a good working relationship with the various departments and bureaucrats to speed up decision /permissions affecting the company / sector.
- Initiate processes for change in laws/ process/ regulations to enable industry.
Ideal candidate should have 10 to 15 years of experience in Government Affairs in a large manufacturing companies.
Technical / Functional skills :
- Good presentation, oratory and communication skills.
- Should have an aptitude rasp diverse and at times complex matters and be able to put them across in a simple and easy manner.
- Experience of having worked in a medium /large enterprise or major Industry Associations.
- Should have also had experience in dealing through trade bodies/ associations.
- Should be IT savvy and good letter writing skills.
