The Regional Sales Head is responsible for driving and overseeing the sales within a specific geographic region.

This includes developing sales strategies, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.

The role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the region in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and formulate action plans.

- Set clear regional sales targets and KPIs in collaboration with the senior management team.

Team Leadership and Management:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and executives to achieve their individual and team targets.

- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous development.

- Provide regular performance feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement necessary training and development programs.

Sales Execution and Relationship Management:

- Oversee the execution of regional sales strategies to ensure targets are met consistently.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners in the region.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by understanding client needs and delivering appropriate solutions.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage the region's sales budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.

- Forecast sales performance for the region and report progress regularly to senior leadership.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

- Conduct regular market research to monitor competitor activity and identify new business opportunities.

- Provide detailed reports on regional sales performance, market trends, customer insights, and forecasts to senior leadership.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:

- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with business initiatives.

- Ensure smooth communication between the regional sales team and headquarters.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 10 +years of experience in sales, with at least 5 +years in software sales.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets .

- Strong understanding of the market dynamics in the relevant region.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.

- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Other:

- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
