Insurance Placement Manager

Location: Bangalore /Mumbai

Level: Mid Management

Reporting to: Chief Strategy Officer

What We are Looking For

Bimaplan is seeking a motivated Insurance Placement Manager whose main responsibility will be to understand risk, prepare RFQs and comparatives, negotiate with insurers, pricing terms and conditions, account handling, and salessupport. Responsibilities

- Evaluating the business risk and identifying viable insurance markets, both life & general insurance.

- Interact with key stakeholders to understand their concerns and identify improvement areas.

- Present the risk to insurance companies.

- Preparing and completing submission information in consultation with client-facing colleagues.

- Performing follow-ups with insurance companies for the completion of the submission and underwriting process, and highlighting the unique characteristics of each risk.

- Business awareness and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

- 5 - 7 years of experience in the Insurance industry to manage insurer relationships

- Strong commitment to delivering results and making a meaningful contribution in a team environment.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Demonstrates a well-organised and logical approach to work.

- Demonstrate extensive experience handling life and general insurance programs with an understanding of the insurance act.

- Ability to analyse complex problems and structural issues for detailed resolution.

- Understanding of risk management and ability to persuade others to follow best practices.

- Clear evidence of successful management experience.

- Excellent interpersonal and strong leadership skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence at all levels within the business.
