Head - Tele Sales (Bangladesh)


THE ROLE :

The role is an integral part of the Milvik business with multiple senior stakeholders and requires effective management of external partners and collaborations with other internal departments. It requires strong leadership skills and accountability for self and others relating to performance, people engagement and attrition management. Maintaining and enhancing current sales leadership teams through development and interpersonal skills is key. Needs to deliver sales and revenue targets, overseeing activities of other sales employees and monitoring and managing performance. Critical sales functions, sales training and quality improvement sit within this remit and form a vital part of the holistic sales operational support functions.

THE RESPONSIBILITES :

Leadership & team management

- Leads and develops local tele sales team

- Creates an environment of trust and people engagement

- Engages and motivates team members

- Ultimately responsible for delivery but holds other people managers to account for employee engagement as well as retention and ensuring positive attrition management is in place

Sales operations management

- Develops, executes, and implements sales strategies

- Estimates sales volume and profit for current and new products

- Establishes sales objectives (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) by forecasting and developing sales quotas in-region and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products

- Meets pre-defined sales and revenue targets

- Defines and communicates business's KPIs and targets to all salespersons

- Plans headcount to deliver as per people and revenue requirements

- Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results

- Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans

- Maintains sales volume through regular & diligent tracking

- Holds monthly one-on-one meetings with the sales leadership teams

- Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.

- Cultivates lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty

Contribution to global best practices in tele sales operations

- Works with Global Sales Operations team to share update on local operations and to contribute towards building global sales best practices

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

- Contributes to global team effort by accomplishing related results

THE PERSON:

- Minimum 5 years professional working experience in sales in senior manager role within outbound voice contact environment

- BA/Degree in business administration, sales, statistics, mathematics, or master's preferable

- High emotional intelligence with superior levels of self-awareness, personal resilience, and the ability to relate to others and adapt approach as the situation requires

- Proven understanding of captive and/or outsourced call center operations

- Able to demonstrate driving performance through people

- Self-motivated and able to work alone and in teams, highly accountable and results-focused

- In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices

- Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines

- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills

- Able to effectively communicate and execute change and change management (people, process and technology)

- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills

- Experience in outbound sales practices and methodologies

- Managing suppliers, such as third-party senior stakeholders including negotiating budgets, delivery times and tracking results

- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment; to take ownership of business as usual operations alongside projects and deliver under pressure

- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced business

- Maintain a positive morale with a professional attitude

- Lead by example and promote a culture of trust

- Languages: Ability to read, write, speak and understand Bengali
