JOB DESCRIPTION - Billing Functional Architect
Qualification
BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Electronics, Instrumentation, Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science or acceptable combination.
A total of 10-15 year experience working with a medium to large sized program/project. 2-3 year experience working as Solution Designer/Solution Architect is required
Good overall system knowledge of the BSS Infrastructure of a Communications Service Provider
Good overall knowledge of the Telecom Business Processes in Revenue Management domain
A good understanding of TM Forum Frameworks; eTOM, SID, TAM (Certification in eTOM, COTs tool preferred)
TRAVEL: Ability to accommodate travel including extended stays on customer sites when necessary
Technical Skills
Excellent knowledge of Order to Bill Process
Strong experience across revenue management functions including mediation, rating, billing, payment and collection and revenue assurance.
Strong experience in Singleview CE/CB, Perl, Unix, Tuxedo, SQL, Webservice integration, SV upgrade and Vertex as billing Architect
Working experience in at-least one BSS/Billing transformation project involving following components
Customer Management, Online Charging & Balance Management
Rating, Billing, Invoicing, IDT
Discounts and Adjustments, Taxes, Accounting and GL
Singleview Scheduler
Experience in different kind of projects including application development, maintenance, production support, system integration, migration and reengineering
Experience in the performance monitoring tools
Strong estimation skills
Good understanding of Mediation. wholesale billing in CSG Intermediate and Interconnect is preferred
Knowledge of Real Time Charging Systems and experience in Intelligent Network.
