We are looking for a Category Manager/Marketer to join Bijnis (https://www.bijnis.com/about-us/). The candidate will be responsible for managing the categories listed on Bijnis, driving revenue, strategically developing and executing marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and retention.
Responsibilities :
- Manage categories on the platform, including product selection, pricing, and promotions.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to develop and launch new products and services, and ensure product availability and pricing are optimized.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to category performance and marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to continuously improve category performance and marketing strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals for outreach campaigns
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in category management and/or marketing in the B2B e-commerce industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience in using data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Adept in managing a team of category specialists and marketing professionals.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, e-commerce platforms, and marketing automation tools.
