Big Data Architect - Talend - Software Development

We have a leadership opportunity for Bigdata Architect (Talend) with one of our client for Bangalore location.

Job Description:

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development including 3+ years full phase hands-on implementation experience as an architect/Technical Lead on Talend Big Data (preferably Talend Big Data 6.3 & HDP 2.5.x),

- 3+ years of data warehouse and ETL / ELT design, build, test experience including requirements assessment, ownership of data integration architecture and ETL / ELT, should have good understanding of RDBMS principles, should have the ability to test and debug advanced code, must have core technical leadership experience.

- Should have good understanding of Hadoop ecosystem like Map Reduce, Spark, Hive, HBase/Phoenix, Sqoop and ability to write queries using Hive, HBase/Phoenix and Unix Shell Scripts (For Talend big data architect)

- Should have hands-on in Talend for Big Data ETL tool like DI Enterprise Open Studio and/or Talend Real time platform and/or data fabric

- Should have very good knowledge of Talend Big Data components and writing reusable Talend Standard and Spark jobs

- Should be well versed with Different file Formats for parsing files like Flat File, XML etc

- Good Experience of Xml parsing, Advance Mapper, and transformation components.

- Knowledge of custom components.

- Should have prior experience of deployment of Talend job, optimization and automation. Should have hands experience with using GITHUB Repository, Nexus Artifactory and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline for Talend for Big Data jobs

- Hands-on experience of TAC for various activities like deployments, scheduling and administration of jobs

- Knowledge of TDM is an added advantage.

- Strong understanding of relational database concepts technology and experience in Data Modelling.

- Ability to develop and promote architectural best practices, standards and perform code reviews, recommend solutions.

- Experience with Unix shell scripting.

- Experience with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques

- Knowledge of Core Java
