Job Description :   Position ; Big Data Architect  Client : Analytics firm in Bangalore  Skill Set Snapshot : Big Data - Information Management  Experience : 7-15 years of experience.  Location : Bangalore  A Big Data Architect will have the following traits :  - Possess strong design and architecture skills.  - Demonstrable excellence in innovation, problem solving, analytical skills  - Architect Machine Learning framework  - Should be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms  - Maintain Open Source awareness of solutions  - Attitude to work in a fast paced environment  - Strong technical team leadership.  Preferred Qualifications (Primary Skills) :   Total : 8 to 14 years  - 5+ years in Big Data/Analytics areas  - Understanding of underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions   - Programming/scripting skills like Java, Linux, PHP, Ruby, Python and/or R   - Expertise in SQL databases  - Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in building ML/NLP systems  - Customer segmentation and predictive modelling methods  - Bayesian methods, Neural networks, Support vector machines, Hidden Markov   - Experience on any of Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR, Pivotal HD etc  - Explore Big Data ecosystem   - Experience in NoSQL databases  - Experience with Enterprise Java and web application Design  - Design and implementation work for product feature and technical enhancements.   - Extensive hands on UNIX/LINUX environment  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Education : Bachelors from Engineering discipline.  Note : If this requirement is not a match with your profile, kindly ignore it
