Key Responsibilities
- Manage medium to large size, proactive and reactive bids / RFPs / Tenders.
- Ability to manage multiple bids at the same time without losing focus.
- Management of all aspects of pursuit from kick-off till delivery handover
- Establish and maintain pursuit calendar with key review milestones
- Work with Legal and Delivery teams on contract related issues
- Work with Finance to close on financial terms and commercials
- Responsible for Creation, tracking and controlling proposal response document & documents required for review checkpoints
- Responsible for submitting a completed bid to an existing or prospective client, on time and within budget
- Coordinating with relevant stake holders from the lines of business (service lines) in all parts of WI (and WT where applicable)
- Gather intelligence from market on upcoming major bids
- Conduct competitive research and gather publicly available and privately sourcebale info (about competition, market in general, customer, partners etc) that will help in winning the bid.
- Create and use effectively re-usable components / templates to increase the bid management productivity and accuracy.
- Reporting to BU level Sales Support Head.
- Measurement criteria for this role will be win ratio, bid/proposal quality rating by sales team and clients (both in winning and losing cases), adherence to process and
Experience Details
- 10 to 12 years of experience in IT services industry, most of it in a similar role.
Knowledge, skills and previous experience
- It services experience, specifically in India.
- Should have managed large bids and won across multiple technologies / domains
- Exposure to / experience in working with Manufacturing & Hitech clients is highly preferred.
- Should have worked in a matrix team structure and influenced people from different groups
- Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent understanding of deal finance / commercials / various pricing models that are prevalent in the market
- Good troubleshooting and conflict management skills
- Good organization skills - ability to read and interpret instructions carefully and allocate and monitor tasks appropriately
- Time Management - Ability to meet deadlines
- Articulate, confident speaker with strong written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver world class presentations. And videos where required.
Must Have:
1. Should have worked at least 5+ years on Proposals involving ERP Software like SAP/Oracle, Infrastructure Management.
2. Technical skillsets to craft the complete solution end to end.
3. Work with different solution teams to understand, validate and Integrate the complete solution technically
4. At least two large bid experience
5. Lead the Customer Presentation on proposed solution.
6. India experience and its size.
