BIBA - Senior Manager - Buying & Merchandising - RTS

Purpose of the Job:

- Owning and managing RTS and core portfolio

Key Result Areas for the Incumbent:

Process Responsibilities:

- New product review

- Buying and assortment

- Vendor identification

- Select product and fixing buying price

- Allocation of merchandise at store /format level

- Raise purchase orders for product selected

- Budget planning

- Allocation of merchandise at store level basis sales budget

- Sell thru management,

- Product management at stores

- Product feedback

- Liasoning with retail operations and VM team.

- Liasoning with warehousing and logistics for product inwards and delivery to stores (from vendors and from warehouse)

- Collaborate with retail operation managers on effective management of category

- Collaborate with Visual merchandising for optimal product presentation in stores

- Collaborative buying for Online channel partners

- People Management Responsibilities

- Vendor management including negotiations

- Product training Module creation and training delivery to stake holders

- Financial Responsibilities

- Perform buying operations for the season based on category budgets.

In order to be considered for the role the ideal candidate should have: Minimum 8-10 years of work experience category head in fashion buying from ethnic wear only
