BI Solution Architect - KPO

Job Description :

The BI Solution Architect serves as an expert that develops Business Intelligence and Campaign solution and direction. This position requires a broad business perspective, a willingness to step into multiple roles. The role is primarily focused on developing business intelligence solutions leveraging the company's Enterprise Datawarehouse platform and the campaign solution space.

Have ability to effectively communicate with various levels and areas of employees in other business units and group across Asia.

Salary : Upto MYR 300 K

Your Responsibilities :

- To build and lead the BI & campaign solution roadmap

- To assess and provide solutions and design solutions in the BI, eDWH and Campaign projects

- To lead in business discoveries by gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating business needs into long-term business intelligence solutions

- To work closely with other IT architectures to ensure the right requirements are aligned and captured

- To ensure solution is in alignment with Technology Strategy, other business architectures and other impacted areas.

- To define, augment the BI data definition covering metadata, master data and reference data

- To closely engage Asia Business Units, to ensure the solution architecture are harmonized across Asia for the group initiatives

- To develop the data governance framework and enforcement process to ensure data quality and stewardship to prevent the proliferation of new silos of information

Requirements :

We are looking for dynamic technology leaders who are experienced change agents with analytical and open mindset. He/she must be a team player driving to achieve efficiency and resources optimization.

The incumbent fulfilling this role should possess at least a Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology equivalent with at least 10 years experiences in system development, system support and project management.

Within the 10 years experience, at least 5 years in BI and eDWH Architecture with 3 other years in general IS/IT Data Architect. It will be an added value for those who have campaign architecturing solution in the same manner

Your Merits :

- Have an understanding of a general end to end BI architecture solution (i.e eDWH, Big data (Hadoop), integration tool, ODS, federation tool, and visualization tool)

- Have experience with various eDWH solution in the market and Big Data detail knowledge

- He/she has Cloud solution knowledge and experience

- Involves in preparing solution guideline, directions and solution roadmap

- Ability to relate/connect data into business valuable information and to create data models detailed data synchronization flow

- Ability to manage and lead virtual team - Able to communicate and align with other systems solution architects to resolve new concept and project solution.

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills - Ability to negotiate/present/communicate with top management and international business stakeholders to align directions, manage expectation, streamline business requirements and influence the data owners to assume their responsibility.

- Advantageous to have work experience in information architecture or more than 3 years of project management experience previously

- Prior experience : Telco operators / vendor environment like Huawei, IBM / Oil & Gas (architect roles) / end users who have knowledge in various products & services from various industries

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

- Good documentation and presentation skills (using MS Powerpoint)

- Thorough and quick problem solving skills

- Highly self motivated and ability to work without supervision
